This Yin Yoga class is your invitation to slow down, soften, and return to yourself. We begin with a grounding practice and gentle breathwork to help settle the mind and body. From there, we move into long-held Yin postures, mostly seated or lying down, which gently target the deeper connective tissues like fascia, ligaments, and joints.
Unlike dynamic yoga, which focuses on building strength and movement through active, flowing sequences, Yin works through stillness. Poses are typically held for 3–5 minutes, allowing time for the body to soften and the nervous system to slow down.
These postures are held with stillness and care, offering your body time to unwind, release tension, and restore natural balance. We close with a deeply restful Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) to nourish your nervous system and leave you feeling calm, safe, and supported.
Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra are scientifically backed practices shown to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the body’s natural rest-and-digest mode helping to ease stress, reduce anxiety, and bring a sense of clarity & deep peace from the inside out.

Mats, blocks, and yoga straps are provided. You don’t need to bring anything, but to get the most out of the practice, I recommend bringing a bolster or a thick pillow (two pillows inside one pillowcase also works well).
These props offer extra support in longer holds and help your body fully relax.
All poses can be done without extra props so don't worry if you don't have an arsenal of props in your back pocket.
Blankets are not provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own for added warmth and comfort, especially during the final rest and Yoga Nidra. A cosy layer or warm socks can also be helpful, as the body temperature often drops when we rest deeply.

For online Yin yoga, you’re already in the perfect space , your home. Gather a mat (or rug), a couple of pillows or a bolster, a blanket, a strap (like a dressing gown belt), and blocks or books. These props help you feel supported, cosy, and safe, especially in longer holds. There’s no need for fancy gear, just create a quiet space, wear warm layers, and let yourself fully relax.
Yin Yoga is a quiet, powerful practice and like all meaningful things, its gifts unfold over time.
Rooted in ancient wisdom and modern science, it works gently on the body, mind, and spirit, releasing stored tension, calming the nervous system, and nurturing emotional balance.
With consistency and openness, Yin becomes a deeply transformational path, one that reconnects you with your inner stillness, clarity, and wholeness.
Over time, this practice doesn’t just change how you feel, it changes how you live.
