Gentle Yoga

What Is Gentle Yoga?

Gentle yoga is a type of yoga practice that is designed to be accessible  to people of all fitness levels, including those with physical  limitations or injuries. It focuses on slow, controlled movements,  gentle stretches, and breath awareness to promote relaxation,  flexibility, and stress reduction. This form of yoga is often considered  suitable for beginners &  seniors.

What To Expect

  1. Slow-paced movements: Gentle yoga classes usually involve slow and deliberate movements, allowing participants to focus on proper alignment and body awareness.
  2. Mindful breathing: Breath awareness is an essential component of gentle yoga. Participants are encouraged to synchronize their breath with movements, promoting relaxation and reducing stress.
  3. Simple poses: Gentle yoga incorporates simple and comfortable poses, with modifications available to accommodate different levels of flexibility and mobility.
  4. Supportive props:  The use of props like  bolsters, straps and blocks is common in gentle yoga to provide support and make the poses more accessible.
  5. Emphasis on relaxation: The practice often includes guided relaxation or meditation techniques to help calm the mind and promote a sense of overall well-being.

Duration

My Gentle Yoga Class spans 1 hour and 15 minutes, providing an ideal  duration to gracefully navigate our practice with mindfulness and  gentleness. Additionally, it allows for a concluding relaxation session  to seamlessly integrate into the experience.
